It seems the full English is not only the worst breakfast you can have on health grounds but it has impact else where.

Bath of water needed to produce full English breakfast, report says
Producing the average full English breakfast uses up the equivalent of a bathful of water and land the size of a small car, analysis suggests.

I wonder if the EU will outlaw the full english once the vote goes there way. :hmmm:

I have been thinking how long ago since I had the full english and it must be a good 20 odd years ago! I'm not really a breakfast person as it upsets my stomach even just a slice of toast makes me feel rough.

Myeah, not a breakfast person either. It usually takes a good 10 minutes to eat a sandwich in the morning. :)

Tho, I picked up some muesli stuff from the store, that I can eat.

Full english? I'd probably be still eating it in the evening. :rotfl2:

Looks damn good, though. :yep:

Yea me too, I would still be trying to make headway through it. :o

As for muesli nice but that has the opposite effect, that goes though me fast. :haha:

All thing you eat or produce, needs water. Often an astonishing amount.
And? What is bad about it? This is not the Sahara, water falls from the sky, only the pipelines, artificial reservoirs and clarifying make it "expensive". And greedy companies.

Now the next fearmongering in the headlines of the yellow press?
"EU wants to take away your English Breakfast!"

Apart from that i like english breakfast but i would not eat it everyday, because all things i like, seem to be bad for my health :shifty:

Don't make me puke Jim!! I hate breakfast foods, all I have is a cup of coffee and a biscuit to dunk, that's it!!:yep: Now smoko, that's a different story.

Smoko here in Australia is the mid morning break, usually around 10:30, I thought it would be the same over there.:hmmm:

It's the beans I've never understood. Why beans, why beans that look like they came direct from the can? Can't y'all at least mix in some hamburger, some extra ketchup, mustard, a bit of smoke flavor to make good baked beans? :03:

It also takes 2 litres of water to make one litre bottle of bottled water :nope:
THAT'S waste. Making something that' not much different or worse than tap water just becasue the companies tell you it's cooler that way.
Mineral water excluded, that thing is beneficial for your health.

Now a full english, you need to water the crop and water the animals and a lot of it falls from the sky, especially the water the plants kind.
I'd bet the same water to food ratio is for muesli, fruit salad, sandwich...

Then again, that ratio might be higher for a fruit salad, you have to water the tree for 5 years before it's first crop

Not directly directed at Betonov but what I never understood about the water issue is that the water isn't lost. It's not like it's used up and gone. Used water will be cleaned and released back into the water circle, water used on plants will sooner or later be released again when the plant is consumed or just by releasing humidity over the leafs etc.

So used water isn't lost water so what's the problem with water usage???

Overwhelmed capacities and (in the Alps at least), the water springs can't really be expanded to meet the increased population and/or industry and/or agriculture. And the decreasing amount of snowfall every year means that the natural reservoirs are not filled to their needed capacity in the spring.

And in the water bottle case, some water (I don't know how much really) is used as a component in plastic production and it's not really returned to nature :nope:

Unless you buy the Swedish Ramlösa. That stuff has so much chloride in it they don't recommend it to children, not to mention it smells public swimming hall.

There are a lot of English owned cafe's, mostly it country areas here in Australia that have what is called "All day breakfast" or "The big breakfast", basically the same as the "Full English"
Mostly:
Sausage
Bacon
Eggs
Fried Tomatoes
Hash Browns (or Chips)
Toast
Mushrooms.
I often have these but rather for lunch, Yummy!!!:yep:
One of these Cafe's is The Happy Rock Cafe in Gladstone South Australia. (look it up)

Yeah, just don't let the milk anywhere near the beer or it'll lose its head.
