Ok, next problem, this time technical:
After being submerged for a couple of hours, I surface my boat, I arrive at 15 feet, everything looks quite normal, but...
... I don't charge battery.
... I keep a constant CO2 level.
... I don't have a deck watch.
Heh???
Anyone experienced that before? Any ideas for solutions?
Thanks!

Perhaps I have to correct myself.
I think batteries were in fact recharged, I just didn't realise it cause I was running on full speed and recharging was slow.
Also compressed air was restored.
Nonetheless, there is definitely no deck watch, and CO2 level is increasing...

Did you alt tab recently while submerged? There is a known bug where if you alt tab out of the game it will continue to think that you are in the same state as when you alt tabbed. Try saving and loading that save, it should go back to normal afterwards.

sometimes the games "hangs" like that and save and restarting the game usually cures it, if not submerge, then save and reload the game and then surface and it should work correctly.
also in rough seas the game sometimes wont recognize a surfaced condition if the seas are high enough, so in bad weather you may not see crew on deck or the working options that are associated with being surfaced

It's a known bug. The solution is to save the game, go out to the main menu, then load the save.
