Uplay?

Ihave just reinstalled SHV after 3 years. I remember there was a method of starting the game with out going through Uplay.

Also I would like some choices of mods to go wth Open Horizons 2.2 which I have still.

Searching through my Drives + external drive
I found a host of SHV mods and one folder which has 23,00 items inside, all to do with SHV.
So any suggestions please I prefer manual targetting but dont know how to use the RAOB? the wheel which comes up inside the periscope for plotting etc. Re the RAOB I would like to know how to use this.if there are any textual stuff for download.

I don't know whether this will be of any use to you; I don't play SH5 because I can only play offline and could not get Uplay to function even just to activate the thing. That was some while ago and I gave up trying!

The Uplay error message may be because it no longer recognizes the default Ubisoft installed game launcher.
Ubisoft passed the buck over to Uplay some while ago.
The problem can easily be overcome by downloading a genuine game launcher from below.

The advantage with this version is that it will allow you to install on any drive unlike the default version that will only installation in the program x86 folder.
