Game won't start after an update

So i'm very new to the game and not quite as savvy as most of you.

However after updating the game i am now unable to start it, it oads a ubisoft service which says service unavailable.

any help???

Got my game all modded up..and was playing fine,..went to play it today..I get all the way to the "load game" screen..hit the game to load..then the screen just goes black..nothing..I hit ctrl alt delete to bring up task manager..and see the game is not responding..no other games experiencing issues..I did a latest graphics driver update last night..but not having any issues with other games...nvidia geforce titan..anyone have any thoughts, or whats going on?
Anyone else having similar issues? :/\\!!
