I was roaming around Japan checking out the ports and I found one with a sub at the dock (I have seen a few others but ignored them).
Since I had never sunk one I thought I would just for the fun of it. I put two torps into her and she just sat there. Then I put another one into her and nothing. Annoyed at wasting torps on this I let go one more. Nothing. The torps were set at 7 feet and it is mid 44, I can't imagine they went under her and the reported impact was the dock.
Really pissed off so I surfaced and hit her about 8-10 times with the deck gun. Bright flashes on the hits.
By then a subchaser with a gun started zeroing in on me and there were 3 Destroyers coming so I went to periscope depth and slunk away with my tail between my legs.
I looked back at her and she wasn't even smoking.
Are they hard to sink?
