Hello from a newbie

Hi all,

I"d like to introduce myself. I'm 40 years old, living in Czech Republic. I like movies about WWII and I saw Das Boot afer many many years a few weeks ago.

It was so beautiful that I wanted to try a game with submarines. So I bought SH3, SH4 and tried to google for some patches and updates which ended with my registration here.

This forum is amazing. I never thought there is so many people enthusiastic
about submarines and SH serie games.

I've been playing SH3 TGW and SH4 OM720 for a couple of weeks now and loving both. What do you think about SH5? Is it worth a try?

You are in good company liking submarine movies like Das Boot and Submarine and Naval simulators like Silent Hunter. Most if not all of us here in the forum do as well.

Most here have said Silent Hunter 5 is good with modifications added. Give it a try and see how you like it as compared to SH3 and SH4. These are both great as well with modifications added.

Luckily you can have and try them all and not have to make a choice.
