I'm working on simulating the mk.14 torpedo first all the way up to late 80's fish for project redwater. Wire guided willa ctually be easier..

Anyway how do I calculate how long the fish should run straight before turning, how is the gyro angle calculated to rudder angle, how long did the turn last etc. etc. I have no information on this and can only create guesses.

IS there any information, or ways I could shoot a torpedo (say at a stationary target, 15 gyro 400yd straight run, turn, then starivht to target and if it hit dead center my math is right?

Any ideas?

It appears through research the straight run is called the reach, any ideas on any figures for what a mk.14 or any other fish for that matter ran as a reach before turning, and turn speeds etc.
