How would you say this game is?

I'm considering getting this game since it seems the best game to get for early battleship combat and I think I would like it. I'm just curious from those who have played if you would say the game is a good game or if there is something else out there that is even better. Also are there mods that would allow for other ships from other navies to be played with or is it just the Jutland fleets? I.e. is there American, French, Austro-Hungary Ships, maybe even older ships like Spanish-American War era or Ruso-Japanese War era.

Any feedback would be awesome. :D
