althought i ve set the time compression in main.cfg back to 8192.

and changed options in the OptionsFileEditorViewer ( time compression tab)
..

even when i am driving on a long distance. the F.A.Q. & Tips did not bring me further.

it keeps changing back all the time to 64x speed .

yes, on my own risk i would change.
but i dont even get 256 away from lands.... stuck at 64 taking ages to reach mission sea.

PS: found a solution. thanks anyway

; The first value is the default one, the second value is used when 'travel mode' is activated.
; The two values should be separated by a comma.
