Any good (EASY) guides on manual shooting?

used to do it with SH4 all the time, now I have wolves of steel mod and have no darn clue how do this.

Any easy guide on how to manually shoot? What I'm looking for is manually shoot with contacts on.. Meaning I see everything on the map when spotted and all contacts move on the map. So I could track speed easier and direction.

Let me start with that and work my way to full realism

That said many guides are strictly full realism

I did it 'the hard way' from day 1 with targeting, needed a challenge at the time I guess, but the full realism tutorials should work for you the same way if they are based on map work (assuming since you have contacts on you're headed in that direction). The only difference would be that you don't have to estimate range on your own, you can just mark the map.

TheNorseCast on Youtube has some really good videos and very entertaining as well. though they aren't true tutorials, but you can easily learn how he's working the map by watching since he narrates just about everything he's doing. Here's a link to his SH5 playlist - also running TWoS.

was watching him when I read your post.

quick question, when I try the manual dive planes and click manual it just blinks and nothing happens, on some videos I see a gauge for the diveplanes and they don't show up on mine. Is it broken?

Just checked mine and they work fine. You're clicking the CE (far left), then in the sub-menu (not submarine :D - cheeky, sorry) you click icon 2nd from right, then click the down arrow up arrow buttons?

If so, I wonder if it's a realism setting... If the above and preceding is true, maybe post a question in the TWoS thread and Vecko may be able to answer.
