IIRC, in the Game Options you can choose which to run... Imperial or Metric.

I looked in the main screen options, the realism panel in career as well within the game options while on patrol. Stock and GWX 3.0 I did not find this option at all. :dead::dead:

I'm pretty sure that's an option in SH4, not available in SH3. I don't recall if it was in the original "Wolves of the Pacific" release or came about when v1.5 was released for the U-Boat missions add-on.

You can choose either Imperial or Metric, depending on whether you're playing a USN submarine or a U-Boat, or to suit your personal preference.

If you look in the "Documents" SH4 saved game folder, it's in the GameplaySettings cfg file under [MiscSettings].

I don't know of anything similar provided for in SH3, but maybe someone else knows of a Mod or a "tweak" that would work.

Did you look in Options once you start a Career where you can choose Realism Settings? I can't start a career so far so I can't get into the settings. :(

I thought I'd used Imperial setting once a long time ago but changed it back to imperial. Maybe it was in SH5. Tho I do remember it as an option in SH4. But that's no longer installed on my computer.

You can always get to the realism settings by going into a single player mission. You don't actually have to start the mission to change the settings and they stick even if you don't.

Ok, got yas on getting to the Realism Setting via Single Mission. I forgot about that.

Thanks.

I was sure it was in SH3 too but it's been a long time since I played it. It's not funny how old age and not playing screws up what you remember and knew so well at one time. Once I get XP reinstalled as a Virtual Box on my AMD rig I'll be back into SH3.
