heya for your problem is 1 solution install Wind & smoke ....
to open the recognition manual press E key and in the left side of the screen u will have the recognition manual....
also enable from the gameplay setting manual targeting

And from time to time that recognition manual just disappears for some reason. In that case the fix is to delete all the ..._Draggables.TDW files in the main SH5 folder. The game will renew them once you start up again.

Oh, and to answer the first question that "I have Warship" doesn't change without the Wind&Smoke mod. You just have to open the RecMan and click on Send Mast Height to TDC.

U can also use filters in rec, manual. Just keep in mind that not all the filters work for every ship type. For example, If you use filters for merchants, only bow shape and superstructure will work. For warships you should use funels number and bow shape filters...Experiment a bit...:yep:
