Since i dindt get response in the sh5 forum:
How would you compare the two in terms of quality, gameplay?
FIRST Sh 3 doesint crash what much in Sh 5 crashes almost every 10 min.
SH5
Pros
Amazing graphics
Walkable u boat
COns
Unrealistic
Crashes often
Only VIIB AND VIIC classes

Although with the Wolves of Steel mega mod, a lot of those things have been fixed and it is now a great sim.

To be fair, unrealistic by itself is not enough as explanation, it is too generic. submarine mechanics ? ai tracking? ai detection? ai attacks? missions? ... well you should have got the point

He must be comparing with stock sh5, since twos has real navigation, wich i find pretty realistic compared to sh3.

Since you've been a member for almost eleven years, and before SH3 came out, maybe people in the SH5 forums assumed that you've already seen the dozens of threads comparing the two, and the months of hostile arguments between adherents of the two, that you should already know the answer.
The correct answer is: Given the price of both these days there is no reason not to get both and compare them yourself.

i read that someone had found files for an uncompleted type II in SH5.
seems they ran out of funds and just put the uncompleted product on the market.
there is no reason not to get both and compare them yourself.
I can think of one: it is an arduous and time consuming task to do so. i'd be surprised if any one could question that, but I can think of one!
