1st of all. I play games to have fun. I do not always try to do a simulation based on historically accurate facts, you can call this cheating if you want to but for me SH3 is a game that allows me to change certain perimeters.

SH3 GWX Gold

I have found instructions somewhere around here that describe how to increase the explosive power rating of the torpedo's. I am supposed to edit the torpedoe.sim file.

The trouble is my Win7 64b PC doesn't have a torpedo.sim file anywhere on the hard drives.

Do I need to create this file? Where would I put the file if I do create it.

In the Library folder of the game

Have you used it ?

Sam, you will activate it when you Extract it to the MODS folder that JSGME, or you, create in the Main SH3 folder.

I remember a long time ago, I made experiments and use of this mod only torpedo zon ,it came out a little strong :)
Like "one torpedo,one ship" mod for sh 5

I just wanted to let everyone know that I found it and I installed it. It isn't historically correct but it is a lot of fun for me.

I remember my first mission in Stock SH3, "happy times", without this mod,sometimes large tankers are pierced in a similar way as the image of the dark wolf :D
