Over all, I'm cool with the nav tools included with SH5. However, the glaring item missing is a nomometer. I have one that I used with SH3, but it doesn't seem to work. Does anyone know where I can find one?

I beleive the New_UI MOD by TheDarkWraight has that.

Thanks, bro. I'll check it out. Right now I'm debating ditching the Steam version I have, and going with the DVD version. I'm not too far into the game, and it looks like there are some really great mods available.

Ok, I downloaded the New UI mod, but I'm at a loss as to what to do with it. I've never installed a SH mod before. Sorry to sound like a noob, but can someone lend some instruction on what I need to do.

Also, I'm looking at the Gold Edtion download on Amazon as a way to get away from the Steam version. Does anyone know if that is the same as the DVD version, or do I have to actually purchase the DVD media to get the full game? I don't mind purchasing the hard media, but just impatient.

Much thanks, guys.

Happy Hunting!

First you need to download a tool called JSGME. You place that tool I root SH folder. After that you should have MODS folder in SH root. Now you see that the zip file that you downloaded which contains New ui has inside MODS folder. That folder contains many mods that Come in the package. For there you move those mods that you want to install to your mods folder in SH. after that you should run JSGME to activate the mod.

As for what version you want, I recommend the download from GamersGate. I'm fairly sure it's compatible with mods.
