Glenn Frey, has passed away from complications of ulcerous Colitis .

The Eagles formed in 1971 by Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner.

The Eagles reached success with Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Bassist Timothy B Schmidt, and guitarists Don Felder and Joe Walsh. The Eagles Dabbled in Country music as well as Rock Music and ballads. Glenn Frey went on as a solo artist as well as in acting.
The eagles were a great rock band and I enjoyed their music and was sorry they didn't play as much together anymore.

The title song to their album " Hotel California " remains a requested favorite . Don Felder created the the melody with Joe walsh contributing on the 2 part lead guitar interplay with Don Felder.

I remember when the band broke up and someone said, "Hell would freeze over before they got back together again"

They got back together again in 1994 ... almost forgot how good they were till they started playing all of their old songs on the TV today.

They were different ... no one has copied that sound that I know of.

Now I miss them ... think I'll go over to youtube and have a look around.
