Back to port quick?

Not sure if this is right or not. I was in a single mission, sank a fair few ships but didn't complete the objective because I ran out of torpedoes, so was heading back to port.
I was wondering is there a quick key press to get me there because traveling time will take ages and/or shall I just quit the mission as a failure?
I was thinking if I make it back I can reload or is that not an option?

Well I answered my own question in a way, I made the mistake of installing a mod after I saved a game, so course the saved game wouldn't activate so I deleted it.
Never mind, it was a single mission plus I'm still a learner lol.:oops:

And in SH4 there is no one-key "go back to port" button. You either give up that mission and restart or schlep it back to port.
