saved game crashes

playing SH4 the pacific wolfs and when saving the game at times, if the file is 4mb or larger- the file doesn't load all the way and program crashes- also if I try to play all the way through to return to port- the time compression is slow and jumpy, has anyone had this issue and is there a fix for this?:hmm2:

Have you patched the exe to use 4gb? Sounds like the sort of issues that can be caused by running out of memory.

It's a well known save bug. Don't overwrite saves, the save files eventually get corrupted. Save each time in a seperate file. I'll save while still in the office, before going on patrol as "Fireftr." The while on patrol, I'll save as "Fireftr1, Fireftr2," etc.
