Just started with sub sims after watching some YouTube on SH4. I picked up the steam version of SH4, but my first mission was to recon Hiroshima, this was difficult and after reading some messages here... also seems very gamey and unrealistic. That said, I did have some fun sinking ships.

There are some wonderful posts, articles and information here SH4, specifically with different targeting techniques - I am using manual aiming, doesn't seem like much fun without it.

Also seems like I might want to add a realism mod either SH4 or maybe SH3 if I decide to pick it up.

I don't want to run a lot of mods, but I was thinking a realism mod might be more interesting. Any suggestions?
