First of all -this idea is to whoever want or could be interested in creating this very big scenario

How long this scenario should be I don't know-it's up to the creator

The idea is very simple

It start small-
First part of the scenario
crisis between Turkey and Russia-which turn into a war-NATO doesn't join, but give aid to Turkey

Second part of the scenario
The Crisis in Crimea gets deeper and ends in full scale war between Russia and Ukraine-NATO give aid to Ukraine.

Part one and two turn after a while into a full scale war between Russia and NATO

Part 3 of the scenario
North Korea see a chance to attack South Korea
USA gets involved in this war immediately

My idea to this scenario

What if some of our known crisis turn into real war and NATO/USA gets involved

As some over general you have to control your forces in three wars and in three different places in the world.

Hope some will create this mission-Know it's going to take time.

Of course the is only two wars two of them is between Russia and NATO/USA(Turkey and Ukraine) and war on the Korean peninsula

Actually, I supposed to create a bunch of hypothetical scenarios, that take place in Black Sea region. However, I didn't plan em to grow into full-scale world war. Unfortunately, I hadn't enough time to deal with the editor. Hopefully, I'll find a possibility to proceed.
If someone would decide to make scenarios on similar subject, feel free to contact me whether discussion is needed.

Three issues with having this in one scenario:

1) The more units in a scenario, the more performance bogs down. Even simulating a regional war on any realistic scale often pushes fairly strong computers to get really slow. Two or three wars would mean a very laggy game, or a very simplified conflict.
2) The scripting and mission assignments start getting problematic, because you need to separate the areas in the game logic, and you might have trouble doing that. For instance, you might end up in situations where fighters in Korea might decide it's a good idea to try and refuel over the Ukraine...
3) More generally - what would this be simulating? CMANO works on a tactical to operational scale; it simulates the the perspective of, at most, an operational command - it might be an operation in a very big space, but still an operation. For this scenario, it sounds like the strategic level is involved. CMANO is not really well-suited to simulating multi-theater strategy and I don't think any military officer would think that having operational control of multiple theaters at the same time is a good idea.

I'd split these into separate scenarios - they're all good idea on their own!

Two thing

1. I wasn't aware of these 3 things

2. After have read Ahead Flank's answer I thought why not make it into 3-4 part scenario, where each scenario continue from where the last ended and the last is the biggest.

Back to number 1. I recall some one mentioned problem with scenarios who are very complexed.

Hope some will, as you wrote make 3 scenarios where my ideas is used.

In another thread made by me, called WWII in a modern version I have posted an idea about a Korean war, how it start small and develop into a full scale war between NK and SK/USA.

There's an existing community pack scenario called Crimean War Episodes: Operation Tiger Rifle (http://www.warfaresims.com/?p=2681) dealing with the titular area.

I have played this mission a few times and it was created by Baloogan-Who use to some Saturdays streaming CMANO where he played different mission and gave feed back

Is it possible to remove one part of my idea-in this case North and South Korea and only concentrating on Turkey and Ukraine ?

Would it be possible to have a situation where NATO/USA have to engage Russia on two fronts=two wars in one scenario ?

I finally managed to deal with the scenario, which details & circumstances I had investigated for a long time. Not a total warfare, but I tried to do it as close to original event, as possible. At the same time, it should be interesting to play, so Georgia has all anti-ship missiles operational.
Here it is - I've posted it for beta-testing

Dare Enough, 2008

Georgia vs. Russia

Date: 9th August, 2008

Location: Coast of Abkhazia (Georgia), Black Sea

Playable Sides: Georgia

Introduction

The scenario recreates a skirmish, that occurred between Russian Black Sea Fleet and Georgian patrol boats during the Russo-Georgian War.

Two Russian large landing ships Caesar Kunikov and Saratov, escorted by a small missile ship Mirazh and small anti-submarine ship Suzdalets were proceeding along Abkhazian coast, in Georgian territorial waters, to disembark troops near Sukhumi.

At about 18:30 they were engaged by group of five Georgian fast attack crafts: small missile ships Dioskuria & Tbilisi, and three patrol boats of different classes.

Historical Outcome

Instead firing anti-ship missiles, Georgian fast attack crafts made an attempt of closing at maximum speed. After hailing the intruding units, Russian forces opened fire and sank one patrol boats (armed survey vessel Gantiadi) and damaged another one. Remaining Georgian forces withdrew to port Poti. Russian troops were succesfully disembarked on the night of 9 and 10 August. Small missile ships Dioskuria & Tbilisi and patrol boat P-203 were destroyed by Russians in port Poti 13-14th August, 2008, patrol boats Tbilisi & P-204 sortied from Poti to Batumi prior to arrival of Russian forces.

Important Notes

Despite of a bunch of facts available, there's contradictory information about number of attacking crafts (four or five), their titles and casualties, weapons, that were actually applied (anti-ship missiles, anti-air missiles, rocket artillery). Please, do not insist on "historical authenticity". The outcome of scenario depends on you.
Georgian naval forces seemed to use armed & modified survey vessel Gantiadi and auxiliary ship Yaroslavets in that raid. In the current scenario they were replaced with Kutaisi & P-203 patrol boats.

Have downloaded it and have tried it-failed. Got to try it later with another approach.

Got an idea to a very small mission

Place around Washington, New York a.s.o Time this year or next month ? free to choice

One airbase viewable

On this base:

1. AWACS
2 F/A-18E or 2 F-35

Scenario idea

When start of mission a message pop-op

Urgent Urgent(or what they call this type of messages) We have from FBI got the message that Supporters to ISIS have got the hand on a Small nuke and a Cessna. We know they left(put the name of a smaller airfield here) We also know they are planning on hitting either Washington or New York-They are going to use their Cessna as a suicide bomb"

So its up to the player to find this Cessna and destroy it before it reach one of these two major cities.

Actually, the feature of the game, I personally adore, is that it makes me investigate historical, political, warfare & technical issues. That's why I'd like to carefully choose the subject of the scenario to inspire my investigations. This is how I made Georgian scenario - I devoted much more time to conflict learning, than gaming procedure.
The idea of nuke terrorism sounds pretty intriguing, but I'm not able to use it. I'm not inspired - I even don't exactly know, where Washington D.C. & New York are located :Kaleun_Wink:
I suppose someone else would do that, because that's a burning issue

I'd like to make something about Turkey vs. Russia, but can't find a good & realistic enough idea

Got an idea and I hope you can use it or some part of it

Russian side
Game time(your decision) how long the scenario should be(your decision)

Before game start a text with words like

November one of our Russian bomber was shot down and a state of hostile between Our motherland Russia and Turkey was a fact

For weeks this was the currently situation between our two countries. This changed yesterday when warship Moscow shot down a Turkish F-16. Turkey see this as an act of war and consider that Turkey is at war with Motherland Russia. We have for weeks been building up air forces in Syria-mainly to help our brother Assad, these planes will be used to protect the Russian-Turkish border, until we have moved AF from northern areas and manpower, to the Turkish border. Etc etc(I'm not perfect in getting my ideas down on paper in a perfect way)

Game start

Airbase in Syria with so and so many bombers and fighters
Some warship outside Syria.

Some empty airbases(maybe 2 or 3) near the Turkish border-The player shall or should move bomber plane and fighters from other Russian airbases to these 2-3 airbases

And maybe let the player move ground forces from Russia to the Turkish border.

You could of course skip all this and start the game where all this already is done, so the player only has to "start the war" against Turkey

Just a quick idea

Haven't you heard about the Turkish humanitarian convoy, which was bombed by Russians soon after Turkey shot down their plain?
Yes, I'm thinking about new Russo-Turkish war scenario, but haven't invented a plot realistic enough :Kaleun_Binocular:

I may have missed this news about Turkish humanitarian convoy

New Russian-Turkish war scenario-

Another proposal-Look at some old clashes between these two countries e.g from WWI and turn it into a modern version-Same area of battle a.s.o but with modern weapons.

I use this thread because what CCIP wrote in reply

I do not know how to make games a.s.o

So this is an idea

If I had created Command I would make a "performance software" to follow the game.

This Game performance software" will scan the players computer and give this person advise on which level of a scenario he or she can play without getting any lags.

E.g a player create a scenario a huge one-he makes it in three levels A, B and C
Other players download this scenario and they start the mission, before the mission load this "game performance" who knows the players computer, tell the player...

It is suggested that you play a light version(A) of this Scenario. if you choose another version higher than suggested, you may get lags or computer may freeze
Or it is silent= He can play whatever version he wants

Just an idea-don't know if that would be possible and if you understood what I mean

Another "out of the ordinary"-idea

Based on the Book Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy but with some fictional changes

Playable side-Soviet

When the game start, the player see many groups of Russian bomber plane, which is under his or her command, they are between UK and Iceland-The player will notice that in each groups(Division) some of the plane has been altered with, instead of having ASM onboard, they are loaded with Long range Air-to-air missile. The technicians on the ground has rebuild some of the bomber plane.

Your job is of course to sink the entire CVBG-group and to shot down enemy fighter jet.

I don't know if it is possible to do this in Command-change to load out to something totally different-e.g AAW loadout
