Hey everyobody! So i just completed my patrol, got 11 ships, 23k ton, satisfied i started heading back to base. Once close to "those islands" just outside Wilhemshaven (i think you know which i mean) the game crashes, i loaded the game again, tried 3 times i think, and it crashed around the same area everytime. Im running:
The Wolves of Steel 1.04
The Wolves of Steel 16x9 Resolution pack
Ship Capsize & Listing Effects 1.0_by vdr1981
silentmichal's interior mod 1.2.4
RPM Hydrophone v2.2.1
Grossdeutscher Rundfunk New Remix 1939-1945

remove the following mods they are not compatible with TWOS
silentmichal's interior mod 1.2.4
RPM Hydrophone v2.2.1

and Add the patch from TWoS
The Wolves of Steel 1.04 - Patch 13

Sjizzle, i did what you said, and tried again, however, the game crashed again, in the same area as before. Anyone who know why this is? Vdr, i'll respond to you soon, gtg sleep now tho:D:D:salute::Kaleun_Sleep:

You cannot remove mods in the middle of a patrol/mission while at sea only when you are in the bunker.

You need to delete your current patrol saves and then use your bunker save to start the game again.

Before you load your bunker save update JSGME to TWOS patch 13.

yea i forgot there is my bad :D to say that need to start a new campaign / mission if add or remove some mods the best option is to start a new campaign if u add or remove mods :D

Oh, alright, of course, i dont know how i could've forgotten that ( i was tired when i posted this, i guess thats why XD) Kinda sucks though, thats 30000 GRT wiped off my register :/\\!! Oh, well what dont you do to continue playinh :subsim:

You do not say how far in the game you are.

If your 30000 grt was all done in this last mission then I would take SJizzle's advice and start again with a new campaign.

If it was done on a previous mission then it is still worth trying what I said in my previous post and you may get to keep your 30000.

Removing the 2 mods should sort the problem but it has to be done when in the bunker .

This means any saves showing when you crashed need to be deleted back to where you started the current mission from the bunker.

Yes, i sunk the 30000 tons on this last patrol, but i have a save from before it, in the bunker, will it work if i load it, and delete the ones from the latest patrols? I'm not in the mood to start a whole new campaign again.... (Done it like 3 times XD) Oh, and im in December '39, so not that far gone, but yea, as i said, dont feel like restarting yet again.

i have a save from before it, in the bunker,Yes, that is the one you need.
and delete the ones from the latest patrolsNeed to be deleted first.

As I said it is worth a try.
The fact that you have already removed the 2 mods should be ok.
When the game loads in the bunker make another save.
Use the new save and load the game again.

Most changes can be done in the bunker after a patrol/mission has ended and before the start of a new one.

A little update, just did as you said, everything worked fine out of Kiel, right up until i closed down on Heligoland, where the game crashed again. Could it be my TC thats screwing it up? *EDIT* Yes, it seems to have been the TC, lowered it a bit and worked now! :D Thank you guys, this is why i love Subsim :D

Dont be so sure that TC is to be blamed. Messing up with .sim files during campaign (like hydro RPM mod) can sometimes broke the game and only reinstall could help in this case. Also why did you add mods which are already contained within the modpack ?!:doh:

To be on a safe side you should once more check install instruction and tips , reinstall the game from scratch and start new campaign. Everything else is shoot in a dark...

DO NOT mod your game if you are not sure what you're doing...:yep:
That's the whole point of megamods like TWoS...

It seems to be fine now, havent had a crash, whilst doing everything i did when it crashed before. And Vdr, to be honest idk, it seems i forgot they were in TWOS, i feel kinda stupid now XD But thx for the help everyone and good hunting!
