change patrol start date SH4

Hello!
I am new to this forum but not new to SH4. I was wondering if there was a way to edit the start date of a patrol within a saved game file. When I opened files with notepad I tried changing the date but no luck! I recently found online logbooks from ww2 submarines and I want those dates to match in game for my specific submarine.
Any help would be much appreciated!:D

Haven't tried this myself, but taking a quick look;

C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents\SH4\data\cfg\SaveGames\00000009

In that folder is a CareerTrack.upc file, open that with notepad. Look for the most likely line, such as;

PatrolStartDateTime=1941-12-10 06:00:00

Change that, save and exit, load the save game and see if it works.
