Unfortunately the game became difficult to play because the Ottoman Empire has been busy consuming everything east of it and has become a terrifying looking force to both military and CPU. I might get back to it and see if I can free up the CPU by scheming a coalition against the Ottomans... :hmmm:

I only played Rome: Total War '1'.

I installed the "Roma surrection" patch and play as Carthagians, sending the Romans to hell :D
Like in real life, they ignored all peace treaties. I don't even keep their ridiculous cities, but pillage and raze them, then giving them to the barbarians. Take THAT.

Occasionally yes. Latest game with Great Britain although I have encountered unexpected troubles with both kinds of indians invading British America: Iroquois in western front and Marathas in northeastern front... :huh:

I only played ETW for about a week then I uninstalled it, its still in my box of old games even though it will never be installed again.
It was the worst game of the total war series and I haven't bought anything else from Creative Assembly since.:hmph:

I've heard that Napoleon is superior, but I haven't really done much with it, either which way Darth mod is essential.
Catfish, have you tried Europa Barbarorum? Back when I played R:TW I found that it was a very nicely crafted mod. :yep:

Personally, I think it was the best of the Total War games. Just my opinion, though
