SH3 Stock, crash upon loading patrol

i Actually don't know where to post this
and I'm under thwe assumption that this is the only place where SH3 SUpport might still be alive and Kicking

anyways I did a fresh install of SH3 recently
the game loads fine until I patrol anyways

it CTDs when my game loads into the patrol

so help anyone?

You change anything before the start of the patrol ? There installed patch 1.4 b ?
Before you finish the game, was the submarine destroyed
