Auto-Adjustment in progress... can no longer play?!

Ok I stopped playing for awhile and now I am back. I went to commander, selected my carreer, and went go (using Gray wolf)

But after the game starts I get a "Auto-Adjustment in Progress" notification on my screen, and now the right side of the game is missing.

I tried exiting and reloading but it still is broken. I cannot see time compression or any other thing on that side.

Any idea what could cause this? I never changed anything on my computer.

Nevermind guys, clicking some buttons on my monster fixed it!

It's fixed now. But what buttons in particular? And for future reference maybe helpfull for others tell more about the monster's guts.

Sounds like the monitor lost the signal or got fed a different kind of resolution to it which it could latch on to.
