Hi guys! Just joined Subsim today - very nice to make your acquaintance.

I've been dabbling with Silent Hunter IV on and off for a few months and just bought Silent Hunter 5. Its fair to say I'm a total novice, but there's something compelling about these sub sims... keen to explore them in more depth (pardon the pun.)

First steps (aside from saying hi to you all) is to get my vanilla copies setup with mods to enhance the experience (though hopefully not difficulty!) so that'll be my first port of call (another unintentional pun - I assure you I'm not a headline writer for The Sun.)

I look forward to seeing you on the forums (and high seas, if I ever work out how to navigate out of dock!)
