Was posting in the music thread when this thought came to my mind. I was listening to Pandora while browsing Spotify on my laptop and Soundcloud on my phone... There are three kinds of people on this earth...this poses my question. What free music streaming service do you use and why?

Pandora, Spotify, Soundcloud, or if other please specify.

its not often that I stream music but when I do its on Pandora.

I use Accuradio, it's free and is decent enough.

Hardcore pandora listener, something like 2500 songs a month, but Spotify has recently intrigued me, may start using that some. BUT, my phone/OS won't support their app, so until then......

I don't listen to music on line and any music I DL is bought off amazon.

I'm on a data cap so streaming isn't really that useful out and about. I have a Spotify a/c/ which is great for some occasions.

Otherwise I've the home server hooked up to Sonos for in-house and a high-capacity MP3 player for going mobile.

Slightly old-fashioned but there ya go!

To be serious, the only time I get near music online is via youtube, from where I seem to be able to find most links for the music thread that I might require, plus pick up new pieces I hadn't yet discovered thanks to kind souls uploading related stuff.

IMO Spotify is the best. Great user interface and lots of music
