Oooh, more very interesting news from Egypt! They are planning to scan the pyramids to see what lies inside!

Starting November, the pyramids of Giza will be subject to a non-invasive survey in an attempt to unravel their secrets four millennia after their construction.http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsContent/9/40/161858/Heritage/Ancient-Egypt/%E2%80%98ScanPyramids%E2%80%99-project-hopes-to-decipher-ancient-s.aspx

Interesting to see, if these scans support Houdin's internal ramp (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egyptian_pyramid_construction_techniques#Jean-Pierre_Houdin.27s_.22internal_ramp.22_hypothesis) theory. :hmmm:

I bet the pyramids still hold a lot of secrets that we haven't discovered yet. Great thread Dowly!:salute: What amazes me is the misdirected interest about the fascinating Giza Plateau. The pyramids are dazzling; but it's about soul travel off the mudball & Ma'at: "The entire Giza Plateau (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giza_Plateau) is believed to have been constructed over the reign of five pharaohs in less than a hundred years, which generally includes: the Great Pyramid, Khafre and Menkuare's pyramids, the Great Sphinx, the Sphinx and Valley Temples, 35 boat pits cut out of solid bedrock"! That's a lot of naval digging that goes strangely unnoticed IMHO. http://www.touregypt.net/featurestories/greatpyramid5.htm (http://www.touregypt.net/featurestories/greatpyramid5.htm) http://www.touregypt.net/images/touregypt/greatpyramid5-7.jpghttp://www.touregypt.net/images/touregypt/greatpyramid5-6.jpg<the boat is a sun bark used to transport the king over the heavenly ocean following the sun god Ra.

The tombs are of interest certainly, but the solar boats are about getting you where you want to go..."the boats to the south of the pyramid are solar boats in which the soul of the king symbolically traveled through the heavens with the sun god. The boats in the pits by the upper temple were used by the king as Horus to travel throughout Egypt and maintain order in his realm.(Maintaining Ma'at, order amid Chaos, was an official state function:rock:) The pit that lies parallel to the causeway might have contained the funerary boat which was used to bring the king's body to its final resting place"...A lotta shekels for a huge spiritual marina!:yep:
