Is it possible to take out that nomograph, it distracts me no end.
There is enough for me to do in the game when the smelly stuff hits the fan,
and for myself, the last thing I need is something to appear from behind that nomograph.

Game, "contact, bearing 165, closing"
Me.where the .... is 165, just point to it Cuzzy! whats closing, why isn't my scope locking, cripes cat there goes my coffee.....
Game, pew pew pew "were taking casualties sir" "we are under attack sir"
Me, why was I not told, didn't you see it comming, have you no eye's Bro
Game, "you were told sir, but the plane was behind those darn nomograph lines" "and the eye patch hasn't worked sir"
Me ,yeah sorry about that Bro, now get me something to mop up this coffee. here you are, use these printed nomograph pages.

Is there a way to convert it to a no more graph?
Just the graph, it doesn't have to come with new instruments and a torpedo skin change, and also comes with..... just the graph
It's (the graph) downloadable off the interweb and I can print copies, sit them on the desk and use as required.
Pause game, Change spectacles, Draw a line, (I have a real pencil) Have the answer, Change spectacles, Un-pause.....
Also the print version can be useful for the coffee cup stains, no?
(Mom won't let me sharpen the pencil in case I stab the cat, again)

It can be hand edited out of menu_1024_768.ini found in \Data\Menu. I commented out the nomograph with a semi colon --> ; Do a search for 'nomograph' in that file. Be sure to use JSGME to deactivate whatever mod the game is using with the nomograph in Menu_1024_768.ini in it before editing, and use a text editor like Notepad. Do not use Word or any program with text formatting.

I'm guessing the culprit is the super-mod, the main mod that changed your Stock install. One of the mods you listed has Menu_1024_768 in it, because it is not in the Stock game's Menu_1024_768.ini.

Here is an example:

;[G31 I60]
;Name=Nomograph
;Type=1030;Static bmp
;ItemID=0x3100000f
;ParentID=0x31000000
;Pos=0,0,200,720
;Zone=0 768 200 720 2 1 0x31000000 0.76 -0.02 0x3100000f 0 0 0 0
;Color=0xFFFFFFFF
;Materials=1
;Display=2;Linear
;Mat 0=data/menu/gui/layout/nomograph.tga
;MatFlags=0x9
;TexFmt=0x0

Thank you aanker
Although I may just hold off on it for now, After posting I did open the game and went to Submarine School
Navigation class, in there I choose to avoid getting the objective completed.
Instead I busied myself sailing around the island by compass bearings, coarse headings, plotting intercept points on freighters etc.
In doing so I found myself using the darn graph. Bugger me I thought to myself, that's actually rather useful. (clever Greek's)
Now the issue has become the bloody map "flick" when you extending lines through the graph.
I have however stored your advice for possible later use. Once again Thank you.

Rockin Robbins, how are you, Sir
As you may have seen from above, no you cannot have my nomograph for the moment as I may be using it some more.
Although I would have no idea how to send it to you, if it is a case of you needing a copy of a particular file from the game I would be more than happy to help.

Here is a list of the game I have operating.......

SH4 1.5
#1 Real Environment mod install
Lite Fog v2 + 200' Underwater Visability
SCAF for SH 1.5
Webster's Better Air Patrols
Webster's Smaller Clock Needles for v1.5
GreenLamp
Webster's Upgraded Deck Gun v1
Webster's Improved US Torpedo v2

The SCAF mod is I think where the graph came from. So if the graph is what you need it may be obtained from there.

That's it

(clever Greek's)Actually, it was a Scotsman that figured out logarithms: John Napier (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Napier), and a Brit that fleshed it out to base 10: Henry Briggs (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Briggs_(mathematician))
