Hi Subsim
I have a really big problem.
I just got SH5 and everyone tells me it's crap with no mods, so now i have downloaded a bunch, but cant get them to work. :-(
1. I have installed the game in C:\SH5\Silent Hunter 5 and opgraded it to 1.2
2. I have copied the JSGME.setup file to my main SH5 folder listed above (C:\SH5\Silent Hunter 5) and then run it to install the JSGME programe file in the same folder
3. I run the JSGME.EXE and it makes a MODS folder in C:\SH5\Silent Hunter 5 and I have moved all my mods to the MODS folder.
4. I run JSGME.exe and can see all my mods on the left, then i press the > and move them to the right side. press Close and run the game.
Problem is that there is no mods active ingame....
I use the OPEN HORIZONS II v2.5 mod, so I should be able to see if it was active right when I start a campaign.
I have tried running all .exe files as administator, I installed the game in other folders and nothing works :-(

Can you join SH5 TeamSpeak? Perhaps I can help you. On right now.
Also, could you post a screen shot of your JSGME with all of the mods?

Your correct file path would then be
C:\SH5\Silent Hunter 5\Mods

Hi Heschen
I can see from your picture in your mods folder that you are missing a JSGME configuration setting file.
This should have installed automatically when your mods where enabled.
Open your mods in the mods folder and make sure you can see the data folder in each one.

Sorry, the reason it did not have the JSGME configuration setting file was that before I just deletet it all and tried again, so the pictures above was before i saved it, when i closed the JSGME program, it created the file and i have it now, but still dont work.
When I go into my MODS folder in C:\SH5\Silent Hunter 5\Mods and open the Open Horizon II v2.5 folder, the next one have a Data folder, so this should be correct.
as i'm brand new to this game and mods for it, are there some way i can easy see if a mod are ON?? When i have watched some youtube, if people are using OPEN HORIZONS II v2.5 I can see the game menu have changed, and mine does not.
I have opdated the pictures in my original post now, and you also get the new one here

I've just had some trouble myself getting mods running. But your folder structure looks correct. I'd try this: disable OHII in JSGME again. Run vanilla SH5 and start a new career. After the first animation starts up, quit the game. Re-enable OHII in JSGME and launch SH5 again. If it's working now, you should see a label "Open Horizons..." in the main menu. Good luck.

Hi Heschen
You only have 2 mods in JSGME
Accurate German Flags.
When the game loads you should see swastikas on the walls.
Open Horizon
When the game loads to the menu you should see Open Horizon written underneath the words "Battle Of The Atlantic".
Open Horizon is a Campaign Mod.

Everything else you are playing with is stock UI and AI.
