Using Generic Mod Enabler...
Problem: SHV1.5 on CD. Game loads fine... CTD after starting American Campaign after a day's sail from Pearl.
Gut tells me, it is sound problem (aka- Captain Mid-Night sound mod) although I can't be for sure.
Mods- (in order)
RFB 2.0
RFB Patch 23April2010
RSRDC RFB V575
RSRDC V5xx Patch 1
Improved Ship Physics 2.15
Pacific Sound Mod
Captian Mid Night CBS NEWS Sound Mod
I have deleted, reloaded, reinstalled, re-setup mods multiple times but keep getting CTD.
Win 7, good graphics card, decent computer. Should run SH4 V1.5 no problem.
Thanks for any help!

You could well be right. Why not pull captain midnight mind out and see if it crashes? If it does that was your problem. If it does not replace the mod and pull another. By process of elimination this will find your problem

Many thanks, RR.
A bit embarrassed but erasing Capt. Mid-Night pretty much kills the mood for me. Hearing the early-40's radio just helps with the immersion for me.
Is there a way to alter the 'stock' radio files/ settings in order to incorporate the Capt. Mid-night files? I am sure there is... I just need a 'spoon feeding' before I start deleting and copying things....
Thanks!
EDIT: Failed to mention, it was the Capt. Mid-Night mod that was killing the game... (if it wasn't implied above.)

You might wish to give this a read to help with the issue:

You should find your radio sound files here:
DRIVE LETTER:\GAME DIRECTORY\Data\Sound\Radio\Washington\Events
Look here for more files:

Just wait until we get Transatlantic Radio working again, the German Tokyo Rose with fake American swing music by Charlie and His Orchestra! You'll love it.
I've pretty much defaulted to using Clementine Music Player externally to play my music. I can play anything on my computer (with gramophone you have to duplicate files within your game directory and configuration is tricky) and I can play any of thousands of podcasts and Internet music sources. And I control it from my Android phone.
If you miss your mod think of multiplying your 40s music access a hundred times without messing up your game. To me the gramophone or in-game radio is obsolete.
Oh, and here, for your listening and dancing enjoyment is Charlie and His Orchestra (https://app.box.com/s/4lcr7m598mucmuhecrq0yceixmg8lkn0)! Just listen you Allied losers!
