Hi,
Been playing this game for a long time (61 y/o). Never figured out how to change an early decision when making surface contact. The game gives you a decision to dive to periscope depth, stay surfaced or no change and saves the decision for future situations. Now I'd like to change this. My sub wants to goto periscope depth, I try to re-surface but in a minute or two the sub automatically dives again. How do I change this cfg?
Thanks much!
I'm running the GWX version.

Under options there's something for reset default actions.

While you're on patrol hit 'Escape', just as if you're saving the game. There is an 'Options' button there, which will allow you to reset the defaults.

Salute Philipshari:salute:

I think you have the answers to your query! I am just taaking the opportunity to welcome you here. It looks like we are of the same "classe" like they use to say in the French Navy....as I am 63yo....
Nice to know I am not the only one over 58 here:D

65 here and it won't b e all that long 66 will hit. I played SH3 since it came out. Haven't play in the last couple of years due to a hard drive crash and I lost everything. SH5 came along and I went with it until another HD crash., but reloaded it and played until problems arose with it. Now it's time to be back to the roots with SH3.

Philip, great to see someone that's older get into the submarine sims. And welcome aboard! :salute: To me it's not a game but a simulation of what the U-Boats did in the Atlantic.

Dammit.

41 for me. When I am clean shaven I have no trouble passing as 31.

So far the medium age is 51 years :)

I used think that only kids and me play PC games, but obviously the kids play with their smart phones, and PC games are a thing for the adults and retirees.

I believe that Cybermat47 is still only 15 16; Born 6/99:up: I'm actually the youngest: having entered my 'second childhood' It's....it's...all a state-of-mind; nevermind the actual wear on the corpus not too delicti!:shifty: I do still learn though: I came home with a pizza the other night and handed it to the wife....before proceeding up my stairway...only to fall on the half-step 'twixt my dining and family-room inside...two minutes later:nope:! My luvin' cat meowed mournfully into my face...my wife merely inquired if the life insurance was paid up!:arrgh!:

39 here. By the way: In another thread it was asked why the subsimmers are so friendly compared to other forums. I think here we have the answer: hardly anything can upset our old and wise kaleuns :|\\:|\\

54, going on 18 at times, 85 at others; depending on how my day is going. I am not surprised that SH3 is heavily favoured by mature gamers. It is not about bang, bang, shootem up, but about history, strategy, tactics and even mathematics.
