Russia’s military says it is ready to start producing a fully autonomous armored combat system to operate on the battlefield with only remote control and support from personnel. This system is Russia’s T-14 Armata tank.

Made me remember an episode of Future weapons on Discovery

In the future the general and the soldiers will be hiding underground and controll the weapons, such as fighter-jet, tanks, man-like-soldiers, and different type of ships.

Not the first robot tank. They already had those in 1939 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teletank).

The next technology advancement will be tank hacking me thinks, why bother spending billions on robot tank research when countries can employ a few hackers who can steal them remotely for practically nothing. :har:
