The eye candy and graphics are incredible. Major improvements to increase immersion into WWII. I'm strictly speaking with mods installed of course. There are harbor buoys for example.

There is an editable captains log.

There is a scripting module to do things such as guiding you in and out of harbors or Real Navigation if you want it.

The sea and weather are amazing.

The user interface is different. Not bad just different. There is a mod to make it like SH4 if you want.

Crew management is gone. Many are delighted by this. I am not. I liked SH4 crew management and don't like how SH5 has the same crew 24/7. It just doesn't feel right. SH4 you has different faces every four hours. SH5 you look at the same faces all day long.

SH5 has the whole sub modeled from bow to stern. But there are only a few subs to choose from. There are no US fleet boats. Only U-boats.

I still love SH4 and play it to be on the US side. But I wish SH5 had fleet boats because the updates are fantastic.

its different , but i like it more . allotof stuf your used to isnt there or yes it is you just need to find it . in campain you must dock allot to get further , it the start i tought o thats it but now i know whooo allot more . no mods maybe in future when i ended the campain and looking for sh6 wich isnt out yet

French is one of the 5 languages that SH5 supports.
Some other applications that are used with SH5 are also available in French.

Ok but i don't speak French I just want to buy the cheap one. So I'd like to know of it will com with English as option

Yes it would.
Logically you would expect the installation and the dvd case to be in French.
The default language should be French.
Will the crew choice be French or German from the custom installation?
The manual also comes in 5 languages.

If you like SH4, stay there :D.
You need to modify SH5 to reach SH4's realism and fun.

SH5 have
1- good graphics
2- less realism (arcade style play)
3- lots of bugs
4- deadly loading times
5- very limited crew management with bugs
6- more action
8- only VII A, B and C playable
9- lots of mods to correct bugs and weaknesses

I use "Wolves of Steel" mod for realism and "TDW Generic Patcher" for bugs.

I want to play SH3 with SH5 graphics.

I would like to pick up on a few points.
Are you saying that SH4 unmodified/stock is better than SH5 modified?
All the SH versions unmodified are crap.

By using TWOS you have already eliminated most of the problems.

Subsim posts show that there are still problems with SH3 and SH4 a lot of the time down to the gamers themselves not doing the correct thing.

Your point 2 > is down to your realism and game play settings.
If you are playing with a low game play percentage settings then you will get the arcade type of game with point and shoot.

Your point 3 > I have done 49 game saves to date with TWOS and I have not found any bugs that I have not been able to overcome easily.

Your point 4 > The loading times is down to the capability of your PC.
There are over 100 mods in TWOS so if you have a low end PC then you have to expect this.

Your point 5 > Unlike SH3 and SH4 there is no crew management.
I have been playing this for over 3 years and I have not come across any crew bugs that I can remember.

Your point 8 > I agree that say a type IX would have been a nice addition.

Your point 9 > You have a dedicated bug fixer in TDW's Generic File Patcher as well as mods that fix things.
Is that not the same with SH3 and SH4 that you have mods to add to the game play and also fix things that are bugged.

If you have a good PC and gpu then the quality of this 10 year old game is actually quite acceptable.

SH5 has come a long way in the last year with Vecko's TWOS and I am sure in time SH5 will finally get the respect that it deserves.
