Refit Completed!!!

Finally after 7 long months, stuck on the dock, after getting a new computer, I just got the game to work on this new system. Reinhard and the U-712 is now back out to sea, on it's maiden voyage (Aug. 01, 1939). I missed this game so.... and odd it may sound, I can't wait to hear "Alarm!" again...

There was a mod at remade the french ports, but i don't seem to be able to find it.

Game works just fine, until I start to mod it. Then it crashes on the loading the mission. Any ideas?

Did you test each mod one at a time as you installed them, or did you just put them all in and hope for the best? If you test them all yourself you will know exactly which mod causes a problem and then you can ask what to do about it.

I did test them one at a time, the first three worked, and then it crashed again. I had to delete the SH3 folder in My Documents, each time I loaded a new mod, and them it would work, then crash again on loading a saved mission.

It work fine on Win7 , but now with Win 8.1 it crashes all the time. This happens on both my Decktop and Laptop, both running 8.1

Hmm...

I'm no expert, but I have had problems with the GWX Enhanced Damage causing crashes. This didn't happen on loading, though, but only when a ship was giving off a lot of smoke. You do have a couple of mods I don't recognize.

I found the problem, I should've done "Scaling on high DPI" and run as administrator.

All seems to be working as it should, for now...:up:
