Hello, fellow captains!

Several questions and comments.

Why do I have the feeling that SH3 is the best game of the series, SH4 is not worldwide, and SH5 is just not fun.:hmmm::hmmm: SH3 seems like a balance of graphics and just enough realism to make it exciting.

Is there going to be a GWX 4.0? and when?

What is the best set up for the GWX 3.0 mod such as, for example, digital download, CD, with or without Commander (Which is awesome for speeding up the game, and naming ships with cargo types).

I have steam but have not installed SH3 from steam.

Why does GWX 3.0 crash sometimes? do you still have to be in port or open sea to save game?

Any tips and comments about the game and especially the idea of using Commander with GWX 3.0 are welcome. Is there a way to use Commander easily after GWX 3.0 is installed?

Is there a way to purchase or trade for a copy of SH3 with GWX 3.0 and Commander all on one install disk?

Is there going to be a GWX 4.0? and when?
Never. Also, if there was, it would be for SH4 U-boats, not SH3. That was in the works when the team retired.

I still use the second-generation disc I bought in 2008 (or rather don't use, as it is only required for installation).

Why does GWX 3.0 crash sometimes?
It doesn't. SH3 crashes sometimes for a variety of reasons, chiefly mismatched mods, or sometimes for no apparent reason at all. It's not GWX that causes it.

It's a good idea.

Commander is not really a mod, and can be installed before or after anything else. It doesn't care. Note that there is a configuration file required to make them work together.

Not really, but getting them all to work together is a cinch. Easy peasy.
