yes I am back...


I have windows 7 Ultimatum and decide today to install the game via Steam, cause I missed the game a lot...you know all those emotions that only SHIII haves and gives to us as players !


I missed a lot this community, in fact I never saw one like this and after installing the game I decided to come here and salute all of you specially the ones that walked shoulder to shoulder some years back when I was modding along side you guys....still do not know exactly if I am modding again but for sure it is on my head !

Life for me this years went crazy, moved place to another area and home, have lots of stuff that now are on my day by day and turned it better for sure...I didn't ever forgot you guys...none of you , and for this reason I am back here...Modding sickness lol


I have now some questions have the game installed via steam and JSGME already on its place ready for Mods adding...

What are your advises on Mods guys ?

I mean GWX is a must have for me...but what more guys !?

Yes, SH3 is like a wine :)
Don't know if you ever played with hSie's patch, but if not it's absolutely must have addon. Other good mods you will find in Steve's link.
BTW - are you planning only play or maybe some modding?

I guess I'll stoop to the level of plugging my program here....


If you got the time try out SH3 Dynamic Campaign. I'd really like some feedback from testers. Haven't gotten much so far.. :nope:

For sure I'll be here more often as for Modding the little bug its scratching on by head for a while...but so many years passed by since my active Mods here that I have to go back to school ...LOL:salute:


There is a lot of new stuff...I was checking my Mods here and saw that still know what to do and where to change it...lol

So I guess its a question of when to start cause real life is a little different now...

yep everything installed..and working minus the GWX H.Sie V16B1 that I have no idea of what it is and installed it and just ruined everything up...



Now another question guys , Graphics improvements Like terrain and sky etc...is there any Mod for this...

Of course,

look at Brett25 (b25_SF@Grass_xxxx). The best terrain mod i have ever seen. Can not play SH3 without it. And look at rubini's "Clearsky" and "Volumetric clouds". A a "must have" too.

It comes with a great read me and is a must have for immersion :yep:

If you can get this working it is worth the effort.

JC, good to see ya again. :salute: I'm just getting back into SH3 myself. Now if I can remember everything used to know I'll be lucky. :rolleyes:

If you can install without using Steam. I know it saves the original install if you ever uninstall, but Steam is not the best way to run SH3. I have a few games that are only Steam run and I'm not happy with them. Problems pop up and can really mess things up.

One question to ya. Are you going to put your mods back up on the web. Reason I ask is I see your website is no longer running. Yeah, I still have the link to it. ;) :)

Still playing SH3. Got a Win 8.1 and huge pc. I also got deluxe version of SH4 and expansion for German subs, but I prefer SH3.
