Cannot dock Submarine, Anchor icon not popping up.

Hello, I cannot dock the boat at the place you start at, I've tried Kiel too.

(The blue submarine icon is at the starting area, not Kiel).

I am using the mods:

Wolves of Steel Mega Mod.

Wolves of Steel 16:9 Resolution Patch.

SaintMichaels Interior.

Help, please.

Your base has probably been relocated by BdU. Did you get a radio message advising you to rebase? Look at the nav map and your base will have a small submarine icon next to it.

What is your current in game date?
Are you sure that you've saved/reloaded your game when you first time entered Bunker in Memel harbor?
In WoS , once you leave Memel you will not able to dock there again. It is not intended. Kiel is your next base, two days after campaign star IIRC...

I had the same problem, in Kiel. I was in the bunker but no anchor icon appeared. I tried twice or three times with no luck, but I was using the Continue Campaign option in main menu. Once I loaded my last manually saved game (about 100km away from Kiel), the anchor showed up just entering the harbor.

Now, I always save manually before exiting... and always load last manually saved game, instead of Continue option :yep:

You need to have completed the 2 objectives.
1. See the Polish Task Force.
2. Sink 2 ships.
This should be showing green completed in your Captains Log.
You then get a radio message to go to Kiel.
You can carry on sinking ships and getting additional bonus points if you wish to.
Your submarine icon showing in Memel will not move until you are well on your way to Kiel.
You need to make your way down the length of Kiel Harbour and at some point the yellow anchor icon will appear at the top of the screen and will flash and then go solid.
Do not end your patrol before 00.00 stopwatch time on September 4th or you will not be able to request the next mission.
You can then end the patrol any time after this.

It is not necessary to enter the bunker unless you want to.

I am afraid to say, nothing works.

The anchor never pops up, not even after reinstalling the game twice alongside with the mods.
The submarine icon has changed to Kiel, but I cannot dock.

I am totally mystified by your comments.

My suggestion would be to delete some of your last game saves back to a point where your base is still showing in Memel but after your completed objectives.

Use your compass and draw out 200km from Kiel.
By the time you reach this boundary you should see that your base icon has moved to Kiel.
When you reach this boundary and providing you cannot see any traffic or coast line closer than 50km do a manual save and exit to the desk top.

When you reload this 200km save you should be able to make your way into Kiel harbour and down towards the bunker where somewhere hopefully from the harbour entrance to the bunker the anchor will appear at the top of the screen for you to end the patrol.

Do not end the patrol before 00.00 September 4th stopwatch time.

One last point that vecko mentioned that is very important.
When you first load the game in the Memel bunker from the Autosave Enter Base first save you must make a manual save and exit to the main menu.
Load this manual save from Load Save in the main menu and you will be back in the Memel bunker again.

Sorry to hear, That happened to me before. I think your game wants more RAM(Random Access Memory).

For Win 8.1 64 bit standarts
4 GB RAM weak
8 GB RAM ok
16 GB RAM recomended

Hey guys, new to the scene and loving it! Just ran into this myself (literally lol my boat ran into an invisible wall at the dry dock entrance). It's only Sept. 01 but I wasted all my arty shells practicing so I wanted to restock, I still have 6 torpedoes so I guess I'll head back out and get some more tonnage on my record, I sunk 3 merchants already but I did get chased away by 3 warships, so it'll be good stealth practice too :yeah: Ah, I was in Memel. should be back on track. Thanks!
