Removing warships icon?

Is there a mod or a cfg tweak that gets rid of the warship icons?

I am using this trick which disables the uzo/periscope automatic ship ID that I found in this thread :

but I would also like to have all ships have the same icon or symbol on the map, a normal rectangle and get rid of the warship symbol entirely so you have to manually identify all of them.

Is there a way to do that?

No one knows whether this is possible or whether the warship icons are hardcoded?
