Mmmmh.... interesting, thanks for the link. But from the readme : "Then select it in the Specials/Side Emblem Menu in Game" --> so I guess i can't have any emblem in a single mission with this mod.

OK, I found the solution to my problem. In fr_menu.txt file, i replaced ...
1300=Revêtement anéchoïque (anti-sonar)
1301=Revêtement absorbant (anti-radar)
by
1300=Revêtement anéchoïque
1301=Revêtement absorbant
... and that does the trick. It appears that there was not enough space ! ...
And now I start a new mission in my career (november 17, 1939), and here i am in the middle of the south atlantic !! :doh: WTF !!! ...

Start a single mission. After load, save the mission and exit from the game.
Now, go in: Documents\SH3\data\cfg\SingleMissions
Find and open with notepad the file: "save_name.psc", you will see something like this:
[PLAYER_SUBMARINE]
ClassName=SSTypeVIIB
UnitName=Type VIIB#1
Z01=data/objects/Turm7b_1_hd
M01=88mm_UDeck_Gun_High
A01=20mmSingle_UFlak_High
A02=NULL
S01=NULL
S02=NULL
S03=NULL
E01=NULL
E02=NULL
SNK=NULL
SNK_MASK=7b_SNK_Mask
H01=GHG
H02=NULL
N01=NULL
R01=NULL
C01=NULL
BLD=NULL
ALB=NULL
TAR=NULL
Ok, give to the "E01=NULL", path to the emblem, that you want.
In my case: "E01=data/emblems/subemblems/VIIB.tga"
Start the game, load the save, and you will have emblem in a single mission.

Hello Tycho !
Thank you for your help ! Your solution works like a charm ! :yeah: How did you know I had to edit this file ?? However, now, I have a black background behind my emblem. Is it possible to make a transparent background ? That would be great !

I've checked my file, all is ok. The strange fact is that i've already done two patrols from Wilhelmshaven, and all was ok... And now, i'm in the middle of the south atlantic ... :shifty:

When it comes to the black box instead of transparent box around the emblem it depends on which graphic program you are using to get the transparency.
For Photoshop I seem to recall you always had to select out and save that negative space area in black as an Alpha Channel. Then you had to make sure to save the emblem targa file as 32-bit with the alpha channel box clicked.

However, not everyone uses Photoshop. Some prefer Gimp or other programs and I don't how they handle transparencies in targa files.

Yes, from what I read on other forums, this is exactly what should be done. But I have only Paint.net and the transparent background is not registered in a .tga file, even with 32 bits.
Would you kindly do it for me with Photoshop ? :D I guess it's very easy and quick to do. Here is the link to the file : http://speedy.sh/FEU52/Spart2.tga
