GWX 3.0, and SH3 Commander

I want to simulate transfers. There is an option to have automatic transfers in SH3 Commander, but there is also a way to "dismiss" crew members.

I noticed while looking at crew in SH3 Commander that sometimes they recommend you tranfer someone out because of their high rank or some thing.

This sounds a lot more fun , doing it that way personally. At least to say a goodbye to your crewman... overview his statistics...

which way do you guys like to do it? Manually or auto transfers? I am scared to do manual, does it have any downsides?

I think that I would want to remain in control of that process myself.
However, if you want to simulate the higher ups pulling the strings and shuffling your crew around without your consent, then I think it would be more fun to gamble and hit "automatic" and see if it hamstrings you later on...

I use both methods. Transferring random crew myself and using Commander's 'random crew transfers'.

Commander keeps me honest by usually transferring, injuring or killing off my favorite officers or POs just when I need them.

I try and have a change of 2-5 crew per patrol.

Mine keep getting drunk and getting arrested. I think we might need to change the cook.

Smutje keeps finding ways to smuggle booze on board is that it? That's the problem I'm having with mine...
