After completing yet another patrol in my current career with an unbelieveable high amount of tonnage (92k, ty for the Hood, brits.), I think it's time to up my game a bit.

So on my next patrol, I want to disable Map Contacts.
I've done a patrol or two with this last time I played SH3 (a few years ago), so I reckon it'll take a bit for me to get back in the groove of things.

Now, I already know how to find targets, I can intercept them, and I've become quite adept at using the map tools to draw up an attack plan.

Last time, I tracked targets on a sheet of real-steel sheet of paper á la THIS (http://www.uboatarchive.net/U-69/KTB69-3Sketch3Jul.htm)
That worked out quite fine, coupled with some simplified waypoint/route drawing on the in game maps.
The paper tracks give me all information I need in the end, I can calculate AOB, Speed, distance at any point in time once I've got the first speed and distance measurement done. - Ill post a scan or two if people are interested.

Now I wonder, what do you guys use to track targets?
You could draw on paper, on the map, use a MoBo? Maybe just keep target locations in your head and use a torpedo whizz wheel to gets AOBs etc?

I'm not asking about if you use the 4 bearing methord, the TLAR method etc.

Maybe we can learn something from each other (Doubt it, I'll probably just learn from you all and incorporate some of your methods to my own.)
