Hello all!
My name is Charles Staal, you may call me Cj for short. I have recently purchased Silent Hunter 3 and I enjoy it immensely, which has caused me to seek out a community to be a part of, in which I've joined this one. I am a developer. I code in mainly Java, but I have been learning C and C++ as well. I have Aspergers Syndrome, which causes me to be annoying sometimes, but since I've been living with it all my life, and I am now 25, I have developed a good amount of social skills. I look forward to being part of this community/family. If any modding groups needs a new member I would be ecstatic to join. I am still going through College to earn my B.S. in Computer Science and Software Engineering with a minor in Mathematics. I got in to submarine simulators when I was young. It started out with Silent Steel on Windows 95. I was introduced to the Silent Hunter series when I was very young, at my friends house down the street. His father would play Silent Hunter 2. He would allow me to play it when I would come over, although I had no idea what I was doing. Those neighbors moved a long time ago. Every year or two I would try to remember the name of the submarine simulator I would play at their house but I could never remember. A week ago I decided to google search a list of submarine simulators and watch videos on each one to try to jog my memory. When I watched the gameplay of Silent Hunter 2 I realized that was the one I would play. Doing some research I found out that Silent Hunter 3 was better though, and was considered the best submarine simulator made. So, I purchased Silent Hunter 3 and now here I am. I think that is all that I will write for now, but if anyone has any questions, or would like to make a friend, just post here or P.M. me. I am very approachable and will respond.
Thanks everyone for allowing me to be a part of this family/community!
