Hello there
I created an account a few days ago and recently received a PM from Neal the Admin suggesting I make an intro thread. From all the posts I've seen on this site it seems like a very welcoming community and I'd like to be a part of it.
My submarine simulator heritage is virtually non-existent. I picked up SH4 about a year ago and whilst it looked like a deep and rewarding game I couldn't quite get into it, it remains at a measly 2 hours on my steam profile.
I liked the concept though and after watching Hunt for Red October and Black Gold in the same weekend I decided to give it another try. I'm slowly making progress though SH5 and really enjoying it, despite the DRM and bugs. I'm looking forward to getting acquainted with not only all aspects of virtual submarine command but also with all of you guys. :)
