H.Sie problems installing patch V16B1

After downloading the patch H.Sie V16B1 from this web site, I tried to install it but click the file Patch_SH3, a virus alarm in SH3.exe and antivirus AVG removes this file.exe. Can anyone help me out?

Have you tried disabling AVG for thé time of installation?

Thanks Blitzkrieg! I read the posting that you've shown me, and the conclusion is that I have to change antivirus if I want to install the H.sie.

Not even close, unfortunately. I don't use any AV software...

I'm still trying to find what could possibly cause the problem, but looks like it won't be much of a success.
What's weird, the Stiebler 4C patch is installing itself without any problems, but due to lack of previous patches, the game won't cooperate and start like a good boat should :P

Well, I derped out, wrong topic...

The problem is the anti virus either thinks the HSIE is a virus or Adware.
Any download that contains an .exe maybe looked at in a suspicious way.
You need to change your anti virus setting to make this HSIE application an exception.
Without that change each time you start your game the anti virus will pop up and block it.
Although you can get around this irritation it is easier to make it an exception and fix it for good.

Yeah, I completely understand the thing with AV software, but the problem here is, I do not use any kind of anti virus. So this isn't it...

The only thing I do not understand is the fact, that having genuine copy of SH3 1.4b on my drive, I cannot force h.sie patch to recognize the .exe as valid.
I know that I managed to work this out few years before with GWX 3.0 and unofficial polish language pack including some h-c fixes which was made by Olamagato.
