As my PC is about 10 years of age, it is still ok with vanilla 1.4, but every mod i load really slows the thing down to an extent which i do not find amusing. Since a few days ago i have a much newer, bigger and faster quad-core PC in stock, but i did not put it in service yet. I know if i do so i will spend the rest of this summer in front of my PC! AAArrrggh! :/\\!!
On the other hand i simply can't wait to see all the exciting new mods that bring SH 3 to a whole new level. I am in a big dilemma now and don't know what to do. I thougt i would manage to set up the new PC with SH3 and a whole bunch of mods when the summer takes a break and it is raining for a week or so. Unfortunately this year this seems not to happen! We had rainy summers for the last 5 years now, but this summer is exceptionally warm and sunny! :sunny:
Being a PC idiot it always takes me a lot of time to set up things correctly. Besides that technical aspect I know for sure i will loose myself in the endless ocean of mods for months, and i am really afraid of loosing out on the nicest summer we had in the last 10 years.
Neptune, Poseidon, Gods of the seas - please help a dazed and confused sailor to do the right thing at the right time! :arrgh!:
