Good Evening all.
First post on this forum, can't believe I didn't find it sooner. Been playing the Silent Hunter series since 3, would've definitely saved myself some frustration along the way.
A bit about myself. Grew up and still live in the Pensacola area, so I have had a lot of forced US Naval history, even though I'm an Air Force brat. I know quite a bit more about naval aviation than I do ships, but I have been to visit the USS Alabama several times while in cub and boy scouts, and have even slept on board a few times. My favorite ship that I have ever been aboard though is the USS Drum, WW2 era US sub, and one of our most successful. It's a tight fit for me, but it is impressive that men were able to live and fight for weeks, and in some cases months, in these conditions.
Anyhow, I'm a bit long winded, so I apologize in advance, and just wanna say thanks for all the help I've gotten by stalking the forums, and a big Thanks to TheDarkWraith for his patches, which make SH5 so much more fun to play.
