I noticed the picture of Ernest Borgnine on the home page and decided to do a bit of googling. Coincidently today is the anniversary of his passing. I remember seeing him in 'Torpedo Run' and 'Ice Station Zebra'. Good actor.

I only knew him from Airwolf which I watched (and listened to) when I was a child. "Dom" was always my favorite, he was like a nice uncle somehow.
He surely is missed, but he had a long and prosper life and has seen a lot, which makes me rather happy than sad that he is gone.
Death is nothing to be afraid of, I think.
As long as you had a good life...? :salute:

Nipplespanner, is your name a reference to percussion muskets?

Nah, it has to do with women...
Kidding, it is a tool to adjust bicycle tires. :O:
We had a RIP-thread about this great actor, who is my favorit actor.

I remember going to a bar with friends in the late 1980s. The band playing there that night was called Ernst and the Borgnines. I can't recall a lick of what they played, but that name always stuck with me. :)
