Hi guys,

I still hope that this forum is still active it is really great.

I just bought Sh4 on steam with the U-boat mission add-on.
Now my question is what are the best mods to have?

Thank you very much.

Greetings,

I assume from your posting here you intend to mostly run a U-Boat campaign. If you plan to play both sides of the war you need Multi-SH4 (http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/downloads.php?do=file&id=1110), which lets you have several game installations all separate from each other.

For the U-Boat side there is really only one must-have mod, the supermod Operation Monsun. It lets you have a campaign that lasts the whole war and run any of the major u-boat types.

Everything after that is icing on the cake. :sunny:

Thank you very much for the links, does Multi-SH4 also works for the steam version?

Not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure MultiSH4 will work with the Steam version. :D

I've never used Steam, but I think it should. It's easy to copy the game and make another installation, but then all the saved games get mixed together. Multi-SH4 just makes it so each new installation has its own save-game folder, so they stay separate.
