View Full Version : AE2 Memorial
Found this memorial to the Australian Submarine AE2 just outside Kallingur in Queensland, the pictures don't do it justice, it is made out of fibreglass and is about 3 metres long, it is really awesome and the plaques are worth the read, hope you enjoy.

I would love to get my airbrush onto it and give it a good going over but it would mean some jail time i think :yep:

A fitting tribute :sunny:
They did a fantastic job on it, all the ports, chains and lines are painted, whoever did it has a lot of talent.

Thanks, that's a new name to me. His marine stuff is especially fine:
http://i.imgur.com/hyIqHHZ.jpg I found this, but there's no caption; can anyone ID this destroyer? It'll be an Aussie one I guess...
